Description

American Traveler is hiring a dual-modality CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and X-ray, including OR coverage capability, for an evening shift contract position.

Details

• Work at a smaller community medical center in a CT and X-ray setting
• Dual-modality role requiring comfort working in both CT and X-ray departments
• Evening shift technologists rotate between CT and X-ray throughout the week (e.g., 3 shifts in CT and 2 shifts in X-ray, or vice versa)
• May float between CT and X-ray departments based on staffing needs, including coverage when X-ray techs are pulled for OR cases
• OR coverage support expected when assigned to X-ray
• Evening staffing typically includes two techs in CT and two techs in X-ray
• 5x8-hour evening shifts, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current experience as a CT Technologist
• X-ray (radiologic technology) experience required
• Comfort providing OR coverage required
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Virginia state license required if applicable
• Must be flexible working across CT and X-ray modalities
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging and general X-ray procedures across assigned shifts
• Provide OR coverage support as needed when assigned to the X-ray department
• Flexibility and adaptability across modalities is essential given the smaller facility environment
