Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift position at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center children's hospital.
Details
- Children's hospital setting at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- Pediatric respiratory therapy unit
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Weekend work required on an as-needed basis
- 13-week contract
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Requirements
- RRT credential required; CRT is not accepted
- Active TN license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable); pending licensure is not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience required (3+ years preferred)
- Pediatric setting experience required
- At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Driver's license required for consideration
- BLS certification required; certifications expiring during the assignment must have a documented renewal plan
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients at a Level I Trauma Center
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be approved
- Travelers must be willing to work 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked
- Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
