Description

American Traveler is hiring a multimodality Radiology Technologist proficient in both CT and X-Ray, with at least 2 years of acute care hospital experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology setting performing both CT and X-Ray procedures
• Uses fixed and mobile radiographic equipment across departments including the ER and Main Diagnostic
• Rotating 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Schedule includes rotating weekends
• Call required up to 3 shifts per week, including weekends
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Multimodality proficiency in both CT and X-Ray is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Active ARRT license required
• Current state license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• CPI certification required
• Associate's Degree or equivalent, including completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs radiographic procedures using fixed and mobile equipment throughout the hospital, including the ER and Main Diagnostic areas, under the direction of a supervisor or Radiologist
• Works as part of a team of radiological technologists and hospital staff focused on patient service and image quality
• All certifications must be from AHA; no pending licenses are accepted — active licensure required
