Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in New York, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience with BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • 13-week travel contract

Requirements

  • Active NY RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start date
  • NYS SAFE certification preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
  • Travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Facility orientation includes an additional 8 hours of continuing education units (CEUs)
  • 2 supervisor references required for consideration — at least 1 within the past year and 1 within the past 2 years, each from someone who can speak to clinical skills and work ethic
