Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with outpatient orthopedics experience for a 13-week day shift contract at an outpatient rehab setting in Salem, OR.
Details
- Outpatient orthopedics setting with a focus on post-operative rehabilitation
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Charting is performed in Epic; experience is required
- Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates; no radius restriction
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Oregon PT license required; no pending licenses accepted — license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Outpatient orthopedics experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- COVID vaccination required; no exemptions
- Post-op outpatient rehab experience preferred
- Hand therapy experience is a plus
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified once the profile has been sent for review; additional RTO requests after submission may result in cancellation
- This position has a 13-week minimum contract length, with the possibility of extension
