Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 27-bed General Medicine Unit, requiring Epic EMR experience and a VA or Compact RN license.
Details
- 27-bed General Medicine inpatient unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes a variety of disease processes spanning respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious disease, and renal systems
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- 36 or 48 hours per week available
- 13-week contract
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required per facility float policy
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
- BLS preferred but not required; ACLS preferred but not required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
Additional Information
- No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
- Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
- Time off cannot be approved for Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
