Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 27-bed General Medicine Unit, requiring Epic EMR experience and a VA or Compact RN license.

Details

  • 27-bed General Medicine inpatient unit in a hospital setting
  • Patient population includes a variety of disease processes spanning respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious disease, and renal systems
  • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • 36 or 48 hours per week available
  • 13-week contract
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required per facility float policy
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
  • BLS preferred but not required; ACLS preferred but not required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
  • Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
  • Time off cannot be approved for Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
