Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Oncology floor, requiring at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience and the ability to manage higher patient ratios.

Details

• Med/Surg unit with an oncology focus in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7; experience with higher ratios is required
• Block scheduling is available
• EMR: Cerner and Soarian
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Oncology experience highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility
• Minimal to no RTO; any requested time off must be disclosed upfront
• Candidates residing between 31–50 miles from the facility may be eligible but at a reduced pay rate
