Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 4+ years of CT experience for a night shift weekend position at a Level 1 Trauma, academic teaching hospital.

Details

  • CT Scan department within a 637-licensed-bed Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
  • Patient population includes inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients, with an average of 100 patients per day
  • Uses GE scanners, Philips PACS, and Epic EMR
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (12-hour nights, 36 hours/week)
  • May float to inpatient and ER settings as needed
  • Orientation includes a facility-wide NEO session plus 1 day of departmental orientation
  • Holidays that fall on a scheduled workday are expected to be worked
  • RTO requests require manager approval

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of CT experience required
  • ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
  • Proficiency with IV starts required
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Active license required if applicable
  • Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth for consideration
  • Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

  • This is a weekend-focused position covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
  • Black scrubs are required
  • Deck parking is available for a biweekly fee
  • Department is described as having an inclusive culture
  • Former permanent employees of an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
