Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rad Tech for an Interventional Radiology position requiring 2–3 years of IR experience including neuro (acute stroke), trauma, and vascular experience, with a preference for Level I Trauma and Cath Lab background.

Details

  • Interventional Radiology setting at an acute care hospital in Boston, MA
  • 40 hours per week with a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • On-call required for nights, weekends, and one major holiday with a 30-minute callback time
  • Call rooms are available upon request during on-call shifts
  • Patient population includes neuro (acute stroke), trauma, and vascular cases
  • Level I Trauma center experience preferred

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of Interventional Radiology experience required, with neuro (acute stroke), trauma, and vascular experience
  • ARRT or RCIS certification required
  • Active MA state license required (license required if applicable)
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Level I Trauma and Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Permanent residence must be 30 or more miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Two professional references required for consideration: at least one must be from a manager-level or above (titles listing 'supervisor' are not accepted), one evaluation must be within the past 12 months and the other within 3 years, and references from fellow travelers are not accepted
  • Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform IR procedures including neuro interventions (acute stroke), trauma cases, and vascular interventions
  • One reference from a most recent temporary or travel assignment is preferred
  • First-time travelers are subject to a minimum of 18 months of specialty experience to be considered
