Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3 Labor & Delivery position in Carmel, IN, working nights with every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Details
- Level 3 Labor & Delivery unit with 8 beds, 3 triage rooms, 2 OR suites, and 4 ATP rooms
- High-volume unit delivering over 2,000 babies per year
- Supports both medicated and unmedicated laboring patients with a team of 4 midwives and 26 OB physicians
- Nurses circulate C-sections in addition to supporting laboring patients
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every third weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
Requirements
- Active Indiana or Compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP and NRP Advanced (AHA/AAP)
- Fetal monitoring certification required — AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent program within the past 2 years if not covered on the competency exam
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full Social Security Number and full date of birth required for consideration

- Collaborative team environment focused on achieving the best patient outcomes
- Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies — travel pay rate eligibility depends on distance from the facility
