Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, with first-time travelers considered.
Details
- Position is in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RRT credential and state RT license (license required if applicable)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (must be AHA-issued)
- Experienced RT required; new graduates will not be considered
- Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have substantial RT experience
- Upon assignment start, the unit manager may designate travelers to an Emergency Team, requiring them to remain at the facility during an emergency event or serve on a relief team
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
