Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT Mammography & Radiology certifications for a 13-week travel assignment in Worcester, MA.
Details
- Outpatient and hospital-based mammography settings across multiple campuses within the Worcester, MA area
- Patient population includes diagnostic imaging, general screenings, newly diagnosed patients, and cancer screenings
- Uses Epic EMR
- Day shifts with variable start times (7:45 AM–4:15 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM) depending on location assignment
- 5x8-hour shift schedule; scheduling is based on unit needs and block schedules cannot be accommodated
- Some Saturday shifts required, though there is no specific rotation
- Floating to any of four campuses in Worcester and Shrewsbury, MA may be required, with the furthest locations approximately 20 minutes apart; the goal is to keep floating minimal
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography technologist experience
- Active ARRT certification in both Mammography and Radiology
- MA state license required (candidates with a pending license will be considered, but must apply within 24 hours of an offer)
- Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
- 2 professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic mammography, general screening mammography, and imaging for newly diagnosed and cancer-screening patients
- The hiring manager oversees four campuses and will discuss specific location assignment and floating expectations during the interview
- A Pass/Fail EKG test is required as part of the onboarding process
- First-time travelers will be considered (no prior travel experience requirement noted)
