Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position in Boston requiring prior travel nursing experience and pediatric cardiac care background.
Details
- Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting within a major children's hospital
- Patient population includes children and adults with congenital heart disease requiring critical care
- 13-week travel contract
- Schedule options include 50/50 day/night rotation or permanent nights, working 3x12-hour shifts
- Day shift hours: 7:00–19:30; Night shift hours: 19:00–7:30
- Required to work 3 out of every 6 weekends
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required to MSICU, MICU, NICU, and ACCU
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Cardiac ICU / CVICU / CICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience caring for pediatric and adult patients with congenital heart disease required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Provide critical care nursing to a complex cardiovascular pediatric population in a high-acuity environment
