Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and X-Ray, including outpatient and ED settings, for a night shift travel assignment.
Details
- Outpatient and ED setting serving adult and pediatric patient populations
- CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores, perfusion studies)
- X-Ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
- Approximately 8–9 IVs started per day
- Uses Siemens CT equipment (required) and Samsung X-Ray (preferred)
- Charting in Epic (required) and PACS system (required)
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
- May occasionally be asked to float to other facilities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (R) required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED experience required
- Proficiency with PACS, portable imaging, and Siemens CT equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to independently start IVs required
- Experience with infant and pediatric populations preferred
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-Ray imaging across outpatient and emergency department settings
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
