Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Technologist for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, with RCIS or RT(R) certification and WA State licensure.
Details
- Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting with EP and IR capabilities
- Cath Lab procedures include diagnostic/interventional cases, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temp pacers, peripheral (legs) diagnostic/intervention, and loop recorders
- EP procedures include Micra, pacemaker, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes
- IR procedures (strongly preferred experience) include G and GJ tube placements/exchanges, nephrostomy tubes/nephroureteral stents, IVC filter placement, tunneled and temporary dialysis catheters, ports, GI coil and chemo embolizations, thoracentesis/paracentesis, Inari clot extraction, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, Y90s, TIPs, and biopsies; no neuro IR
- EP ablations occur approximately 2x/month and are staffed by the EP physician's own team — no ablation experience required
- EMR: Epic
- 10-hour day shifts, weekdays from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required 1–2 nights per week and 1–2 weekends per month with a 30-minute response time
- Weekend rotation is call only
- May be required to float to affiliated facilities
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; additional IR experience strongly preferred
- EP experience required (Micra, pacemakers, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, generator changes)
- RCIS or RT(R) certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- WA State license required — license required if applicable
- Ability to scrub and operate the table simultaneously
- Monitoring experience preferred
- First-time travelers considered with 2+ years of experience
- At least one supervisor-level reference required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start

- Perform a broad range of Cath Lab, EP, and IR procedures in a high-acuity setting
- Scrubs are provided
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they have 2 or more years of experience
