Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment.
Details
- Hospital-based CT department with both an outpatient scanner (Siemens 64-slice GO) and an ER scanner (Siemens 128-slice Definition Edge)
- PACS system: Philips IntelliSpace
- EMR: Epic
- Expected caseload of 10–20 exams per shift
- An imaging patient transporter is stationed in CT during the night shift
- 4x10-hour night shifts: Friday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Saturday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current BLS required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Ability to work independently on night shift
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in termination of assignment
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position; limited time-off requests may be considered
