Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week contract at an acute care Magnet facility, with weekend availability required.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 377-bed acute care Magnet-designated hospital
- Day shift, 5x8 hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Weekend availability is required
- On-call coverage required: one weekday shift per week from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and one three-day weekend per month (Fri–Sun), with Friday 4:00 PM–7:00 AM and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- Active state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Scrubs in any color are acceptable; L&D and OR scrubs are provided
- Free parking is available on site
