Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department Hold position requiring telemetry and med-surg experience, with AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC on a 13-week contract.
Details
- Position is based in a hospital Emergency Department, caring for inpatient hold patients
- Primary focus is on inpatient hold patients, with preferred ability to also care for active ED patients
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week, every other weekend (EOW) rotation
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or Connecticut state license required)
- Current AHA BLS certification required for all direct patient care
- Current AHA ACLS certification required for ED RNs
- Current PALS or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certification required for ED RNs
- Med-surg telemetry experience required
- TNCC certification required
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to inpatient hold patients within the Emergency Department setting
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
