Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position handling both ED and inpatient hold patients, requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications with an every-other-weekend rotation.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
  • Responsible for managing both ED patients and inpatient hold patients
  • Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • 36 hours per week with an every-other-weekend rotation
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
  • Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
  • Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
  • Current PALS certification required; ENPC is also acceptable
  • TNCC certification required
  • COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidate must be able to manage both ED and inpatient hold patient ratios and acuity levels
  • Local candidates are eligible for this position; local pay rates are available for RNs in CT and several other states
