Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU Float Pool RN for a night shift position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience in a similar-sized facility.

Details

• Float pool position covering all critical care floors, including ER, ER hold, MTC, Step-Down, and PACU as needed
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 4 weekend shifts required per month
• Block scheduling is generally not approved
• Epic EMR in use
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — GA license or Compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a similarly sized, high-volume facility
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments with diverse and complex case volume
• Ability to manage critical, fast-paced clinical situations across multiple care settings

• Float assignment requires adaptability across critical care, emergency, step-down, and post-anesthesia care settings
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Time-off requests are minimal for this assignment
