Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a Level 1 trauma facility, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and an NC or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) setting within a large academic hospital environment
• Pediatric cardiovascular patient population requiring intensive care
• Level 1 trauma center experience required for ICU positions
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating may be required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and PALS, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required; 2 years highly preferred
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are eligible at a lower pay rate
• Orientations are held bi-weekly
• Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
