Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab position at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring at least 2 years of experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab unit of a 222-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Patient population includes diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, peripheral vascular, PPM implants, and interventional radiology procedures
• Hands-on experience required with specialized equipment: Impella, IABP, EKOS, CSI, Jetstream, Laser, and Shockwave
• On-call is required for this position
• Charting is performed in Cerner EMR
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No floating required outside of unit scope
• Royal blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience in a hybrid Cath Lab and Special Procedures setting required, including diagnostic cath, PCI, peripheral vascular, PPM implants, and interventional radiology procedures
• Proficiency with on-call procedures and specialized cardiac/vascular equipment (Impella, IABP, EKOS, CSI, Jetstream, Laser, Shockwave)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and radiology procedures including PCI, peripheral vascular interventions, PPM implants, and IR procedures
• Must be available and experienced for on-call assignments
