Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in CT and X-Ray for a travel contract working Friday through Sunday day shifts at an outpatient and ED imaging setting.
Details
- Outpatient and ED imaging setting serving adult and pediatric patients
- CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores, perfusion studies)
- X-Ray procedures include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
- Requires starting approximately 8–9 IVs per day
- Equipment includes PACS, portables, and Siemens; Samsung X-Ray preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday
- May occasionally be asked to float to other facilities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT and X-Ray technologist experience
- ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (R) required
- Current BLS required
- Outpatient (adult and pediatric) and ED imaging experience required
- Experience with PACS, portable X-Ray, and Siemens CT equipment required
- Epic EMR experience required
- IV placement proficiency required
- Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-Ray imaging across outpatient and ED settings for adult and pediatric patients, including complex CT protocols such as brain perfusion and cardiac CT
- Experience with pediatric and infant imaging is preferred given the patient population
- An EKG exam is required during compliance and is pass/fail with two attempts allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
