Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long Term Care position in Miles City, MT, requiring 1 year of LTC experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Long Term Care unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Resident population includes long-term care and extended care patients
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• ASN or higher from an accredited School of Nursing required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only; must not expire prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of LTC or extended care RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to lift objects over 100 lbs, with frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Conduct holistic, age-specific admission assessments and develop individualized nursing plans of care for assigned residents
• Analyze clinical data (labs, imaging, diagnostics) to guide and update resident care plans
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate assigned CNA staff and delegate tasks appropriately
• Maintain working knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation requirements
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family education in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
