Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) travel contract, requiring active BLS and PALS certifications and a minimum of 1 year of ICU experience with Level 1 trauma background.

Details

• 13-week travel contract in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU)
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating may be required
• Orientation held on a bi-weekly schedule
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are eligible at a adjusted rate

Requirements

• Active RN license — NC state license or Compact license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS and PALS, must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 2 years highly preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required for ICU positions
• One supervisory professional reference from within the past year required
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients
• Flu vaccine required seasonally (October 31 – March 31); no exemptions accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and eligible at a local rate
