Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of X-Ray experience and required proficiency with Siemens fixed equipment, Carestream portables, GE OEC C-arms, and Epic EMR.

Details

• Hospital or medical center radiology setting
• Occasional OR cases requiring proficient Operating Room experience, including surgery fluoroscopy
• Patient population is shift-dependent and may span all age groups
• Epic EMR used; experience is required

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of current X-Ray experience, preferably in a hospital or medical center setting
• Hands-on experience with Siemens fixed equipment, Carestream portables, and GE OEC C-arms required
• Surgery fluoroscopy experience required
• Proficient OR experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active Iowa radiology license highly preferred; licensing candidates with attestation of application at time of acceptance will be considered
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Experience with all age groups highly preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• A supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years is preferred for consideration
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)
• Time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods are limited to 1 day regardless of holidays worked
