Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position in Washington, DC, requiring a DC RN license in hand prior to start and a minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience.
Details
- Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) at a hospital setting in Washington, DC
- Day/Night rotating shifts available as either 3x12 or 4x12 schedule
- Day shift hours: 7:00–19:30; Night shift hours: 19:00–7:30
- The majority of shifts are expected to be days, with up to two weeks of night shifts within a six-week schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- Floating to ICU and IMC required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required in hand prior to start date; proof of pending status acceptable at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required
