Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital-based ambulatory clinic in Verde Valley, AZ.
Details
- Hospital-based ambulatory outpatient clinic supporting Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Cardiopulmonary, Neurological, Lymphedema, and Pelvic Health
- Monday through Friday schedule available as either 5x8 or 4x10 hours
- Daily patient load of 11 patients
- May be asked to float to surrounding outpatient clinics as needed
- Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis
- Charting is performed in Cerner
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Active AZ PT license or a Compact license required for consideration
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- The clinic is affiliated with a Teaching, Level IV Trauma, Short Term Acute Care facility with 87 staffed beds
- Business casual attire is required
- All staff are expected to adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration protocols (BCMA)
- Time off requests require Unit Manager approval
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required
