Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an IMC/PCU position requiring at least 2 years of experience including 1 year of travel nursing, with current critical care and telemetry experience.

Details

• IMC/PCU unit within a hospital setting, 24-bed unit consistently operating at full census
• Patient population requires critical care and telemetry monitoring, including EKG interpretation
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Charting performed in Epic
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG/Telemetry, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current critical care and telemetry experience required
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months are required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility

• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position; at least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date RTO requests will be accepted
