Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in California, requiring a minimum of 1.5 years of Cath Lab experience and active CA RN licensure.
Details
- Position is in the Cath Lab unit of a 320-bed acute care hospital
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call required: 2 nights per week (post-shift) plus 1 weekend every 2 weeks, totaling 7 on-call days per 2-week pay period
- Weekend rotation required every other weekend, with potential to exceed based on unit needs
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
- Charting system on-site: Meditech
- Free parking available
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required — pending licensure will not be accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1.5 years of Cath Lab RN experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- RNs wear royal blue scrubs
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scheduling requests related to outside employment will not be accommodated
