Description

American Traveler is hiring a Multi-Modality CT Technologist with CT and X-ray experience for a variable weekend-heavy schedule in California.

Details

• 4x10 hour variable shifts, Friday through Monday, starting at 10:00 AM Friday through Sunday and 8:00 AM on Mondays
• Call requirement of 2–4 nights per week on workdays from 8:30 PM to 4:00 AM
• Schedule is subject to change based on facility needs
• CT and X-ray skillset preferred; X-ray techs without CT experience will also be considered
• Imaging equipment includes a Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner

Requirements

• ARRT-R (Radiography) required
• ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MRI, ARMRIT, ARRT-NMT, SNMT, ARRT-S, RDMS, RDCS, CCI-RCS, or RTPET required — candidates must hold a current certification in at least one advanced modality and be able to perform duties in at least one other
• Active California Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
• IV certification required, or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• AHA BLS required
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Minimum of 3 years of technical experience preferred
• Recent experience in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months required
• Candidates must not have a prior hit on their license
• 2 supervisor references required — one from within the past year and one from within the past two years

Additional Information

• Position functions as a multi-modality specialist, performing imaging across CT, X-ray, and potentially other advanced modalities
• Candidates may be considered with X-ray-only experience if CT experience is not present
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days for the duration of the contract
