Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, stent placement, and right & left heart catheterization.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting in an acute care hospital
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 1–2 weeknight call shifts (Monday–Friday) per week, plus one 24-hour weekend call shift per month
- Required skills include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrubbing, right & left heart catheterization, Rotablator, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty
- Preferred skills include Cerner, acute monitoring, room circulator, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- CCI RCIS or ARRT (R) certification required
- MD State License required if candidate holds ARRT certification — license required if applicable
- Proficiency in interventional cath, PCI, stent placement, PTCA, balloon angioplasty, Rotablator, thrombectomy, and right & left heart catheterization
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Orientation is held weekly
- Scrubs are provided
- Candidates located within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Any requested time off must be disclosed upfront
