Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active Florida state or compact license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital nuclear medicine department
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Sunday through Thursday schedule, with weekend requirements depending on block schedule
• Day shift, 5x8 hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float to all 4 facility locations
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
• Active Florida state or compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Current BLS required
• ARRT (N), CNMT, or NMTCB certification preferred
• 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Flu vaccine required between 10/31 and 3/31; medical and religious exemptions accepted
• Scrubs are provided; solid colors only with matching tops and bottoms — no logos or prints
• All RTO requests must be finalized and submitted at the time of initial consideration; no RTO will be accepted after an offer is made
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers, with no radius requirement
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as staff, employees, or contracted travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
• Time keeping is managed via Kronos using a badge swipe system
• Free parking is available with a decal provided at orientation
