Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active Florida state or compact license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital nuclear medicine department
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Sunday through Thursday schedule, with weekend requirements depending on block schedule
- Day shift, 5x8 hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float to all 4 facility locations
- Epic EMR in use
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active Florida state or compact license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
- Current BLS required
- ARRT (N), CNMT, or NMTCB certification preferred
- 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine required between 10/31 and 3/31; medical and religious exemptions accepted
- Scrubs are provided; solid colors only with matching tops and bottoms — no logos or prints
- All RTO requests must be finalized and submitted at the time of initial consideration; no RTO will be accepted after an offer is made
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers, with no radius requirement
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as staff, employees, or contracted travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
- Time keeping is managed via Kronos using a badge swipe system
- Free parking is available with a decal provided at orientation
