Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in a Cardiac Specialty Unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA BLS certification.

Details

• Cardiac Specialty Unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:7-8; a team nursing model may be used when ratios exceed 8
• Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month required
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Local candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are eligible to apply

Requirements

• Active RN license — Tennessee (TN) or Compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN telemetry or cardiac experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• ACLS preferred
• Must be able to pass an EKG test prior to the start of the assignment

Additional Information

• Orientation is bi-weekly
• Time off (RTO) will not be accommodated during holidays or holiday weeks, including: Valentine's Day, Local Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Local Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
• Travelers may discuss holiday RTO directly with the manager after arriving onsite by submitting an RTO form
