Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring advanced procedure experience, multiple certifications, and on-call availability.
Details
- Position is based in a hospital endoscopy unit
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- On-call responsibilities are required
- Advanced GI procedures performed include ERCP, PEG placement, EUS, Spyglass, FNA/FNB, capsule endoscopy, bronchoscopies, and EBUS
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Advanced GI/endoscopy procedure experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidate must be able to assist and/or circulate during advanced GI and bronchoscopy procedures
- Experience with moderate sedation and pain management is preferred
- Candidates residing within 150 miles of the facility are considered local and may not be eligible for travel pay rates
- The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products
