Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years of experience performing TTE, TEE, stress echo, and contrast studies across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.

Details

• Works across multiple settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and cath lab
• Performs transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, and exercise and dobutamine stress echo
• Occasional pediatric TTE cases
• Equipment includes Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin
• EMR systems include Athena, Meditech, and PICOM
• Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts with a rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of echo technologist experience
• RDCS credential required
• Current BLS (AHA) required
• CCI registry certification (RCS, RVS, RCCS, or RCIS) or ARDMS (RVT) required
• Proficiency with TTE, TEE, contrast echocardiography, bubble studies, and stress echo protocols required
• Left-handed scanning ability preferred
• CO state license required if applicable
• Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
