Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years of experience performing TTE, TEE, stress echo, and contrast studies across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
Details
- Works across multiple settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, ER, and cath lab
- Performs transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), contrast studies (Optison/Definity), bubble studies, and exercise and dobutamine stress echo
- Occasional pediatric TTE cases
- Equipment includes Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, and Siemens Origin
- EMR systems include Athena, Meditech, and PICOM
- Schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts with a rotating evening, night, and weekend call rotation
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of echo technologist experience
- RDCS credential required
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- CCI registry certification (RCS, RVS, RCCS, or RCIS) or ARDMS (RVT) required
- Proficiency with TTE, TEE, contrast echocardiography, bubble studies, and stress echo protocols required
- Left-handed scanning ability preferred
- CO state license required if applicable
- Proof of flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Strong interpersonal skills are valued; the team is seeking a positive, communicative candidate who is open to feedback and works well in a team environment
