Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro experience and current Illinois licensure for a cardiac interventional radiology assignment.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at an acute care hospital
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend work is required
• On-call is required
• 30-minute meal break
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Current Illinois license through IEMA required — license must be in hand; no emergency or pending licensure will be accepted
• ARRT registry in radiography required
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required
• Neuro experience required
• Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1–3 years of Interventional Imaging experience preferred

Additional Information

• Agency staff may be required to float to a different unit or facility at the manager's request
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at a local rate
• Two professional references are required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the last year
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and cannot be added afterward
• Vaccination status must be provided
