Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) position in California, requiring 2 years of critical care experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) in a hospital setting
• Serves medium to high acuity patients ranging from young adults to geriatric populations
• Patient population includes cardiac diagnoses, pre/post CABG, carotid endarterectomy, acute MI, post-pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, and pneumonia
• Patient-to-nurse ratio does not exceed 1:4
• 12-hour day shifts with a 0700 start time
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Floating to other units, including Med/Surg, is required as needed

Requirements

• Active CA RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Prior successful travel assignments required

Additional Information

• Provides medical, pre-operative, and post-operative surgical care to admitted cardiovascular patients
• Must be a W-2 employee of their staffing agency — 1099 or independent contractors are not accepted
