Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 9-week acute care assignment, working night shifts on a Friday–Sunday schedule with call requirements.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology department specializing in CT imaging
• Department has 3 scanners: 2 GE and 1 Siemens
• General CT studies; average of 20–30 scans per day
• IV insertion required
• EMR: Epic; PACS: Fuji Synapse
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Call requirement of 2 shifts per month
• Holiday coverage may be required
• No floating to other areas required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required; pending certifications will not be accepted
• General CT experience required, including proficiency with GE and Siemens scanners
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Perform general CT imaging studies using GE and Siemens scanners
• Department is supported by a coordinator and manager; no in-house radiologist or RRAs on staff
• Candidate must be present in-state for the week of orientation, even if initial modules are remote
• Travelers are responsible for securing housing that allows them to meet the facility's float zone radius policy
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
• Dress code: navy blue tops and black pants; scrubs are not provided
• A traveler radiation badge is required and will be provided by the agency
