Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital in Charleston, SC, with Siemens experience required and first-time travelers welcome.

Details

Mobile MRI Tech role at a large 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma academic teaching hospital
4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Holiday coverage required when holidays fall on a scheduled shift
No on-call requirement
Floating within clinical scope may be required to meet facility needs
Charting via Epic
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
BLS (AHA) required
Siemens MRI equipment experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
SC license required if applicable
SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates living within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs
Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date
Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
Parking is free on weekdays; nights and weekends require a one-time $20 parking pass fee
During hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
