Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to perform CT and X-Ray examinations on a 13-week night shift contract covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Details

• Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department
• Performs both CT and X-Ray examinations
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday only
• No call required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Active ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be registered in CT — CT registry is required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment and patients weighing 20 lbs or more
• Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment
• Visual and hearing acuity required for patient communication and feedback

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing CT and X-Ray examinations, evaluating images for proper exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, instructing patients on exam preparation, and organizing procedure rooms
• Must be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to emergency situations
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
• Reports to the Imaging Services Manager
