Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Orthopedic Unit Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Inpatient surgical unit comprised of 32 private rooms
- Patient population is medical-surgical with an orthopedic focus
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
