Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week day shift assignment in rural Gunnison, Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and ARRT(R) certification.

- Diagnostic imaging department within a rural community health facility
- Radiologic Technologist role covering X-ray and fluoroscopy
- Day shift schedule
- Cross-training in additional modalities may be required per department policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- ARRT(R) and BLS/BCLS certifications required
- Registered or registry-eligible through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent
- Active state license required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle, as the Gunnison area does not have public transportation
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures, positioning patients, setting exposure factors in accordance with ALARA guidelines, and producing diagnostic-quality images
- Prepares and administers contrast materials and assists with special procedures and examinations
- May specialize in imaging of specific anatomy such as chest, gastrointestinal tract, or orthopedic studies
- Operates a diversified combination of technical equipment and software
- A Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) background check is required
- References are preferred but not required
