Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular Care Unit (Telemetry) position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Cardiovascular Care Unit (CCU) in a hospital setting
- Acuity-adaptable unit including Intermediate Care (IMC) patients
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of experience in telemetry or cardiovascular nursing required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required — must not expire prior to start
- Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only) required — must not expire prior to start
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Two professional references required
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for cardiovascular and IMC-level patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health status evaluation
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
