Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a day-shift travel contract requiring craniotomy and burr hole experience across neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma cases.

- Hospital-based Main OR setting
- Specialties include neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma cases
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Call and late days required as needed
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Craniotomy and burr hole experience required
- OR experience across neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma required
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
Additional Information
- The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
- Candidates residing within 150 miles of the facility are considered local and may not qualify for travel pay rates
