Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring a TX or compact license, NIHSS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
Details
- MS/Tele unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), with alternating 36/48-hour or straight 48-hour week options
- Patient ratios up to 6:1
- Floating to other Med/Surg/Tele units may be required
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could cause a positive result
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
