Description

American Traveler seeks a Registered Nurse for a Radiation Oncology position in Irvine, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based Radiation Oncology unit
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
  • No call or weekend requirements

Requirements

  • Valid, active California RN license required (license required if applicable)
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
  • At least 1 year of full-time experience in Radiation Oncology or an acute care specialty within the past 2 years
  • Experience with Cerner EMR required
  • At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from within the past year from the relevant unit
  • A second professional reference acceptable from a charge nurse, co-worker, or educator within the past 2 years

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction applies
  • No RTO (time off requests) permitted within the first 2 weeks of assignment; any RTO must be declared at the time of initial submission and cannot be changed once submitted
  • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • A pass/fail EKG exam is required (up to 3 attempts allowed)
  • No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling is permitted
  • First-time travelers should check with their recruiter regarding eligibility for this position
