Description
American Traveler seeks a Registered Nurse for a Radiation Oncology position in Irvine, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Radiation Oncology unit
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- No call or weekend requirements
Requirements
- Valid, active California RN license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of full-time experience in Radiation Oncology or an acute care specialty within the past 2 years
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
- At least one supervisory, director, or manager reference from within the past year from the relevant unit
- A second professional reference acceptable from a charge nurse, co-worker, or educator within the past 2 years
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restriction applies
- No RTO (time off requests) permitted within the first 2 weeks of assignment; any RTO must be declared at the time of initial submission and cannot be changed once submitted
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- A pass/fail EKG exam is required (up to 3 attempts allowed)
- No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling is permitted
- First-time travelers should check with their recruiter regarding eligibility for this position
