Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position in Washington, DC, requiring an active DC RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) setting
- Rotating day and night shifts (3x12-hour shifts), 6:30 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–6:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- Floating to ICU and IMC required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active DC RN license required (proof of pending status acceptable at time of consideration, but license must be in hand prior to start)
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU or relevant RN experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required

- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply
