Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a weekend midnight shift position requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

Hospital radiology department setting
Weekend midnight shifts only: Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Every weekend is required
No call required
No OR or fluoroscopy procedures involved
Technologist works independently in x-ray
Modalities include diagnostic imaging and MRI
Uses PACS system

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
ARRT certification in Radiology and MRI required
IEMA licensure required
Current BLS required
Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent certification
Illinois state license required if applicable

Additional Information

Performs MRI scans and checks MRI schedule with the radiologist to verify scan protocols
Maintains IV/contrast competency
Assists with clerical and office duties to support department efficiency
Technologist works independently during assigned shifts
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
