Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care hospital, with Toshiba/Canon scanner experience required.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Radiology department's CT unit
• Department operates 6 CT scanners with no floating required to other areas
• Common studies include head, chest, abdomen, extremity CTs, Level 1 trauma, and stroke perfusion imaging
• Uses Toshiba/Canon CT equipment, Fuji PACS, and Epic EMR
• Average of 20 scans per day
• IV insertion required on occasion
• 3x12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• No call or on-call requirement
• No holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Proficiency with Toshiba/Canon CT scanners required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Candidate's DL address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• License required if applicable
• 2 supervisor/peer references required, including 1 supervisor reference (must be from most recent perm facility if worked within the last 12 months)
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging including trauma and stroke perfusion studies
• In-house radiologist and radiology supervisor/lead tech on staff
• Gray scrubs are provided
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being considered
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year; after reaching that threshold, a 2-year break is required before returning
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but Toshiba/Canon experience is a firm requirement
